Overview

Tea Tree essential oil (Melaleuca alternifolia) is steam distilled from the narrow, aromatic leaves of a tree native to the wetlands of New South Wales, Australia, where it has long been valued by the local Aboriginal communities for its distinctive medicinal-fresh scent. Known for its crisp, camphoraceous, slightly medicinal aroma, Tea Tree oil is one of the most versatile and widely studied essential oils in the natural wellness world, making it a staple in any home apothecary or DIY skincare cabinet. Tea Tree oil is traditionally used for its purifying and cleansing properties, and may help support clear, healthy-looking skin when properly diluted in carrier oils or unscented lotions. It is also commonly added to homemade household cleaning sprays, natural deodorants, and hair care blends for its fresh, invigorating scent. Many people diffuse Tea Tree oil at home to enjoy its crisp, herbaceous aroma, especially during seasonal changes. At ABCD Organics, our Tea Tree essential oil is carefully sourced and steam distilled to preserve its natural purity and potency. As with all essential oils, it is highly concentrated and should always be used responsibly and in accordance with recommended safety guidelines.
